The 2nd edition of LAMBDA Big Data Analytics Summer School was organized by the LAMBDA consortium partners Institute Mihajlo Pupin (PUPIN), Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems (Fraunhofer/IAIS), Institute for Computer Science - University of Bonn (UBO) and Department of Computer Science - University of Oxford (UOXF) on June 16th and June 17th, 2020. Because of the COVID-19, the event took place online. Overall, more than 70 participants joined the online sessions.

One of the specific objectives of LAMBDA (Learning, Applying, Multiplying Big Data Analytics) project is developing learning materials. As part of the LAMBDA H2020 project (Learning, Applying, Multiplying, Big Data Analytics)[1], a staff exchange was arranged between the Mihajlo Pupin Institute[2] and the University of Oxford[3] in the period from February 3rd to February 14th, 2020. During this time, three PhD students working as Junior Research Assistants at Pupin visited Oxford, UK in order to learn about tools that are being promoted in the project.

The second PUPIN - IAIS (Knowledge Discovery Department) Meeting was organized at the Institute Mihajlo Pupin premises from 11 to 13th of February 2020.

The team discussed the joint activities in 2020 and posiibilities of extending the cooperation after the LAMBDA project end.

As part of the staff exchange between PUPIN and UOXF, a one-week knowledge transfer programme was conducted on topics from the VADA project.
